York University Game Jam

A game jam is typically a weekend-long event in which participants try to make a game from scratch. The goal of a jam is to come together and make a videogame, or a traditional game like a board game or card game.

A jam asks participants to create a game from beginning to end in a prescribed time. The brief time span is meant to help encourage creative thinking which results in small but innovative and experimental games.

This game jam is part of The Save Play Series a series that celebrates and explores the preservation of video games.
