The Jean Augustine Chair in Education, Community, and Diaspora presents WORD, SOUND, POWER: An Annual Black History Month CelebrationThis year’s theme, “Past, Present & Future,” honours Black culture’s rich history, present, and promising future and achievements.

Featured Performances: Talented students and professional artists will perform diverse works. From soulful spoken words and captivating dance routines to musical acts, our performers will showcase the creativity and resilience that define the Black community.

This event is open to everyone who wishes to celebrate and learn more about Black history and culture. Whether you are a student, educator, community member, or simply passionate about fostering inclusivity and diversity, there is something for you at our celebration.
