VR Open House

Presented by CIFAL York and DEXR Lab from York University, in partnership with The Grid, XPERTVR and UP360, the Tech Open House event will be centred around our cutting-edge Extended Reality (XR) Lab. This event will showcase the latest innovations in virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI), offering students and faculty a hands-on look at how these technologies are reshaping educational experiences.

Learning objectives:

• Learn how VR can transform traditional learning environments by providing interactive educational content across multiple disciplines.
• Learn how VR can be used for professional skill training by experiencing two exceptional VR applications.
• Learn how generative AI can be integrated in academic and professional settings.
• Learn how VR and AI can transform the education and training.
