Robyn Zolnaiof the Stephen Bulger Gallery, offers her first-hand expertise in the art market for those pursuing a career as an artist. She will share stories and examples from successful emerging and established artists about their practices, as well as answer questions on the fundamentals when navigating the art market. The lecture will cover a variety of topics ranging from building a portfolio, understanding gallery structures, and setting professional goals.
Robyn Zolnaicompleted her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours at York University in 2008. From 2010 to 2012 she attended Ryerson University where she obtained a Master of Arts in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management. Zolnai is currently the Sales Manager & Communications Officer at the Stephen Bulger Gallery, and a guest lecturer on collecting photography and career development for emerging artists at various high schools, colleges, and universities in Ontario.
Admission is free. All welcome.
The Visual Art Speaker Series is organized by the Department of Visual Art & Art History in the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design.
