Training at Glendon from the Centre for Sexual Violence
The Centre for Sexual Violence Response, Support & Education (The Centre) is the first point of contact for students, staff and faculty who have experienced or receive a disclosure of sexual violence. This training will inform participants of the supports offered through the Centre, the process through which a complaint can be filed and address the limits of confidentiality. Community members are encouraged to engage and ask questions throughout the presentation to be able to create a space where they feel comfortable making referrals to the Centre.
The training will take place Friday October 14th, from 1 to 2pm, and will be delivered in English, but participants can contribute and ask questions in both French and English. Participants can register for this training by emailing thecentre@yorku.ca.
