The Urbanists Link Up Program

The Urbanists Link Up is a youth-led research program exploring how city change impacts Black communities across the GTA and how we can respond creatively and collectively.

What We’ll You Do

• Document community stories through photography, media, art and storytelling
• Explore issues like gentrification, displacement, transit and public space
• Develop your research skills, urban planners, artists and environmental/urban experts

Who is this for

• Black Youth ages 15 to 25
• Interested in film, photography, art-based research, environmental studies, or urban planning
• Curious about how cities change – hand how communities can shape that change

• Saturday April 18
• Bi-Weekly Workshops (Virtual + Person)
• Location: Communities within the GTA
