The PCOS Tour: On the Road to Wellness
LOCATION: ROOM N109, SEYMOUR SCHULICH BUILDING
PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association is the world’s largest support and advocacy organization for people with PCOS, serving over 60,000 members globally. We are leading change in PCOS legislative advocacy at both the federal and state levels in the U.S. and spearheading the development of the PCOS National Health Policy Agenda.
This September, in honor of PCOS Awareness Month, we are launching the first-ever International PCOS Tour. This groundbreaking event aims to connect the community and elevate awareness, education and care for PCOS across North America.
The PCOS Tour is more than an event – it’s a movement. Our goal is to increase education about PCOS among patients, caregivers and the health-care community. We’re building a powerful community of support by centring the patient experience and connecting care through partnerships with providers, resources and PCOS clinics. This tour is a key part of our broader effort to create a robust, national network dedicated to improving PCOS care and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
Tour stops:
Sept. 12: The IVF Center, Orlando, Fla.
Sept. 22: University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, Col.
Sept. 24: The White Lotus Clinic and York University, Toronto. Featuring experts: Jerilynn C. Prior, professor of endocrinology, department of medicine, University of British Columbia, Centre for Menstrual Cycle & Ovulation Research; Fiona McCulloch, the White Lotus Clinic; Charlotte Laws, Prismatic Compassion; and Timea Belej-Rak, FemWellness.
We invite you to join us in this vital mission. Learn from care experts, connect with the health-care community and find the care you’re looking for. We’ll be talking about hormone health, PCOS, metabolic health, mental well-being and more.
