The Harriet Tubman Institute will be hosting its yearly open house. It will take place in the Resource Room, 314 York Lanes. The first portion of the event will include welcomes and introductions from the director, Salewa Olawoye; the associate director, Ruth Rodney; and representatives on the Executive Committee. We will discuss activities planned for the upcoming year and how to get involved. The second portion of the event will include networking activities, where attendees will meet Tubman members involved in interdisciplinary research related to Africa and the African diaspora. This event will be held in person. All are welcome!
