Substance Usage: Cannabis 101

Using cannabis (weed, pot) is a personal choice, but it can have short- and long-term effects on your health.

Our peer-led workshop focuses on debunking cannabis myths.
We review types of cannabis forms (edibles, inhalants, topicals) and understanding dosage size, understanding packaging labels interaction with other substances. We also look at safety considerations and provide harm-reduction guidelines to lower health associated health risks and dependency and interaction with other substance use (e.g. alcohol).

Please note this is presentation is created and delivered by Peer Health Educators. The purpose of this workshop is for general education only. We do not condone or promote any particular lifestyle choice. Please consult a professional counsellor if you are looking for individual support.
