Study Permit Extension Workshop
If your study permit is going to expire in 6 months or less and you require more time to complete your studies, you will need to extend your study permit. In this workshop, York International’s licensed immigration specialists will guide you through the process of creating an IRCC online account, discuss the documents required for a study permit extension and address frequently asked questions.
Please note that if you are currently outside of Canada and your study permit is expiring, the application is not called a study permit extension. Rather, it is called an “Application for a study permit made outside of Canada” and it is much like the process you followed when you applied for your initial study permit, with a few key differences.
This presentation will be delivered in two sections:
9 to 10 a.m. – Applying for a study permit from OUTSIDE Canada
10 to 11 a.m. – Applying for a study permit extension from INSIDE Canada
