Sex on the Couch: Pride Edition

Register for Sex on the Couch: Pride Edition
Let’s talk about all things sex!
Our peer health educators and community support team are here to help you navigate the world of LGBTQ2S+ sexual health as safely and comfortably as possible. Join us for a community dialog regarding sexual health, consent, healthy relationships, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and practices for safer sex. You are welcome to ask your questions as anonymously as you like, and no question is too strange or silly.
‘I’m not having penetrative sex, can I still get an STI?’
‘Is anal sex as easy and clean as it is in porn?’
‘I identify as asexual but my partner does not. I am worried that my partner is unsatisfied in our relationship because I do not want to have sex, what can I do?’

Meet our lead facilitator
Hey there, my name is Jude (they/them) and I identify as a queer, trans nonbinary, disabled, white, settler. I am Health Ed’s Engagement Lead and I am in my 5th year of Human Rights and Equity Studies and Indigenous Studies. I’m passionate about sex education and LGBTQ+ rights and I’m looking forward to facilitating this discussion around LGBTQ+ sexual health. I am also an avid fan of collecting anything cute and pastel and switching up my gender expression via fashion on the day to day.
What is a Safer Space?
A safe space is a supportive and affirming environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans/transgender, queer, two-spirted, non-binary (LGBTQ2S+) students. While we can never ensure that any space is going to be “safe” and affirming one hundred percent of the time, a safe space is a place, group, or community that is intentionally working to affirm our LGBT2SQ+ community. We encourage curiosity and respect everyone’s lived experience. We strive our best to create an online space where you can ask your question to the degree of privacy you prefer. If there is any additional accommodations you specifically require in order to attend this event, please contact us.
