SCLD Clubs Showcase ft. World University Service of Canada
Let’s enable education for youth together! If that is your goal, join WUSC York to take actions to help young refugees access post-secondary education.
Who we are:
World University Service of Canada (WUSC) is a Canadian non-profit organization that helps young refugees to access post-secondary education in Canada as they face so many barriers to access universities in their country of asylum.
WUSC’s vision is a better world for all young people. It is a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world in which all young people, especially women and refugees, are empowered to secure a good quality of life for themselves, their families, and their communities.
We sponsor four students annually from different countries to continue their undergraduate education at York University.
How can you join:
Meet new friends with the same vision and mission for youth education by joining WUSC in a fun Clubs Showcase event in collaboration with the Student Engagement Team. They will be hosting a Kahoot game along with a raffle for a $20 gift card! Join in on our fun on Wednesday, March 16 from 6 to 7 p.m.
