Revisioning Colleges in LA&PS Town Hall

The college system is a uniquely distinguishing feature of York University’s student, academic and intellectual mandate. In the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS), four colleges that are integrally placed in campus life at York University provide a wide range of supports and opportunities for all students, whether residential or non-residential, domestic or international. Undertaking a future vision that reinvigorates our colleges is essential for maintaining their vitality and adapting to rapid societal change, while continually serving the needs of their community members.
To launch this revisioning process, an open town hall will be held in the Senate Chamber,N940 Ross Building from 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 6. All members of the LA&PS community are invited and light refreshments will be served. If community members are unable to attend or wish to provide input after the event, written submissions are encouraged until Jan. 11 and can be submitted at jcsimeon@yorku.ca.
