Ready, Set, GROW! Lunch & Learn Series: EcoStandout – Interview Tips and Crafting Your Elevator Pitch

Learn how to brand and sell yourself through storytelling in professional settings, right from preparing authentic speaking points to selling your strengths. This session will guide you on the do’s and don’ts during interviews, as well as how to leave a positive impression on the hiring manager. Key points such as being on time, active listening, and having questions prepared will be explored through interactive activities.  

The Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change (EUC) is excited to announce its partnership with Green Career Centre to host York University’s inaugural Green Career Fair on January 18th, 2024! To support the YorkU community in preparation for the career fair, EUC will be hosting Ready, Set, GROW! Lunch & Learn Series. This professional development series will run from Oct 26th to Dec 5th on alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays during the lunch hour (12PM or 1PM) as a hybrid format open to the community (in-person seating limited).
