Plastic Free July Bingo Contest

The Plastic-Free July Bingo Contest encourages the York community to reduce single-use plastics by completing simple, sustainable actions throughout the month. Participants can save or screenshot the bingo card, complete a full row, column, or diagonal, and take photos as proof of their completed actions. To enter the contest, participants must submit their completed bingo card and proof photos through the contest form by July 31, 2026.

This initiative, hosted by York University’s Office of Sustainability in collaboration with the York University Bookstore, encourages everyday swaps such as using reusable bottles, bags, and containers while building awareness around plastic waste and more sustainable habits.
