Perfecting Your Cover Letter

This workshop is open to all students in the faculty of LA&PS, not just those seeking to join the Internship Program.

This session will provide you with cover letter writing techniques, including:

• Writing effective cover letter introductions to grab the attention of the reader;
• Using expository writing and the SAR (situation-action-result) formula to share stories;
• Making your personal experiences and achievements relevant to the work of a company.
