Gardeners of Stories

Arpita Bajpeyi, Vridhhi Chaudhry and Meera Kanageswaran, the salon’s organizers, invite you to Paalam: A Reimagining South Asian Dance Salon Series. This November, they are featuring works by international and Toronto-based artists whose art explores stories we don’t typically encounter in South Asian dance: experiences of life on tea plantations, queerness, postpartum depression and much more.

Paalam has been made possible by the generous support of the Centre for Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies at the University of Toronto, the York Centre for Asian Research and the Institute for Dance Studies at CDTPS.
