Nutrition Basics: Plant-Based Diets

In this workshop we will discuss why some students may choose a plant-based diet. We will also debunk some of the common misconceptions surrounding plant-based diets.

What does a well-rounded plant-based diet look like? How hard is it to meet all of your essential nutrient needs ? Does plant-based always mean “healthy”?

Learn to navigate marketing/labeling pitfalls to maximize your student budget too!

Please note this is presentation is created and delivered by Peer Health Educators. The purpose of this workshop is for general education only. We do not condone or promote any particular diet or lifestyle. Please consult a certified dietician to support your specific needs.
