Networking for Beginners (Employer Events)

Do you find networking a challenge? Not sure where to start? Attend this workshop in partnership with the Career Centre to learn how to network at events, build your elevator pitch through hands-on activities, and gain tips and strategies on improving your professional communication skills.

The perfect elevator pitch can help you stand out to professionals in your field and give them a sense of what you’re looking for so they can help you advance your career, whether it’s putting you in touch with a hiring manager or telling you about relevant opportunities.

• Learn about elevator pitch basics and practice their pitches with other attendees
