National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at York University

Susan Dion, Associate Vice-President Indigenous Initiatives will host a community panel— Speaker Reflections—featuring the voices of staff reflecting on their learning journey through engaging in various forms of media. The panel discussion will be followed by a ceremonial fire and light refreshments at Skennen’kó:wa Gamiig for those attending in person. Participants will be offered a tobacco tie and invited to offer it to the ceremonial fire.

The event will be live streamed online and recorded for all community members to participate remotely.
