aquí y allá: una manera de ser (here and there: a way of being) is the MFA exhibition of Michelle Peraza. The project explores figurative and non-figurative representations of her LatinX family through drawing and painting. Its intention is to probe, contest, address, and resist their colonial history to contribute to resilience, empowerment, and a nuanced LatinX identity in a visual format.
