School of Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD) presents thesis work by MFA candidates from the Graduate Program in Visual Arts. Artists include Abraham Oghobase, Jasmine Canaviri, Andrew Harding, Catherine Hois, Michelle Peraza, Shawn Grey, Jessie Kitchen and Lisa Cristinzo.

Exhibitions are scheduled throughout the month of April in the Gales Gallery and Special Projects Gallery.

“Resonant Frequencies Beyond the Visible, Between the Lines” is the MFA thesis exhibition of Abraham O. Oghobase. The project engages with the history – and preservation of – representational tropes in Eurocentric knowledge production by connecting to and amplifying the vibrations that emanate from images within the pages of a 50-year-old encyclopedia.
