Mentor Circles | Finding a Career in the Arts, Media, Performance and Entertainment Industries

Join us for in-person and informal mentoring session at the Alumni & Career Lounge, York Lanes (opposite the Bookstore). This session will allow students to gain valuable insights into Law School applications, strategies on acing LSAT, legal careers beyond courtrooms, innovation and societal impact.

Focus: Behind-the-scenes careers, creative production and networking strategies to land a job in these fields.

Alumni Mentors:

Ivan D. Ossa (BFA ‘21) Showrunner Assistant, Robyn Hood Season 1; Director of TIFF Short Cuts film ‘Express’. Ivan is an award-winning director, writer and actor based in Toronto. His short film, Express, explores themes of ambition and identity and was nominated for IMDb Short Cuts ‘Best Canadian Film’ at TIFF 2023. Ivan is dedicated to crafting globally resonant stories that challenge perspectives and celebrate diverse experiences.

Light food and refreshments will be provided.
