Mentor Circles: From international student to a career in Canada at York U

During the month of January, we are celebrating National Mentoring Month in the lounge with the launch of a new program, Mentor Circles. This exciting, new in-person opportunity is designed to bring together alumni and students interested in mentoring or career opportunities.

Join Yasmine Mensah (BA ’20) on Jan. 23, who will serve as the first alumni mentor in this series. Yasmine will share her journey as an international student to building a career in Canada while obtaining permanent residency. Yasmine will explain how she leveraged her previous experiences and being a York alum to land her new role in Alumni Engagement.
