Living Labs

Living Labs is the staged readings of the plays written and dramturged by York University’s fourth-year playwrights and dramaturgs.

Living labs is a three day festival featuring excerpts and full length works from the 4290 playwrights and dramaturgs. These pieces vary in style and form, with content ranging from challenging cultural explorations to squirrels on philosophical quests to the peaks and valleys of adolescence. Join us for a weekend of authentic storytelling from a group of diverse and dynamic emerging playwrights.

One PWYC ticket is valid for any and all readings. The lineup for the weekend is as follows:

Friday, March 25th:

YORK UNIVERSITY VACCINATION POLICY

All visitors coming to York’s campuses must be fully vaccinated, complete a check-in on YU Screen prior to coming to campus, provide proof of vaccination, and wear a mask at all times indoors that covers your nose, mouth and chin. Most importantly, if you are feeling unwell, do not come to campus.

To complete the screening – https://yorku.ubixhealth.com/login – select the ‘continue as guest’ tab. If you have failed the screening, do not come to campus.

You will be asked to show that you have passed the screening (orange checkmark) and for proof of vaccination [enhanced COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate (QR Code) or original proof of vaccination document and a valid piece of identification (e.g., driver’s license, green health card)].
