Las Nubes Semester Abroad, Information Session at Winters College

We are holding a couple of information sessions for people who might be interested in taking the education course, Education for a Sustainable Future (EDUC 3700/5900), in Las Nubes, Costa Rica. This is part of the semester abroad program at York university’s EcoCampus.
Education Graduate Students and Undergraduate Students (B.Ed and BA[Educational Studies]) (3rd & 4th year students) are able to take the course for program credit. The course has no prerequisites. It is an excellent opportunity for educational students as it includes visits to diverse ecologies (rain forests and beaches) and local schools in the Alexander Skutch Biological Corridor and in Bribri and Boruca indigenous communities.
Some funding is available to support additional travel and course expenses through York International.
The information sessions are scheduled for:
Monday, February 3rd, in Winters College 283B at 4:30 pm
Thursday, February 6th in HNES 141 at 11:30 am.
