Journey to Entrepreneurship

At our first event of this academic year, A Journey to Entrepreneurship, you will learn about the entrepreneurial resources available from representatives of LaunchYU, YEDI and many more, in addition to hearing from York University students Shah and Ali about their journeys to entrepreneurship.
This event will grant you the opportunity to learn from and network with successful professionals in the industry and celebrate entrepreneurship at York University.
We hope the day is a successful learning opportunity for those interested in entrepreneurship or looking to expand their network and make great connections that assist in business.
Guest speakers include:

Professor Kerr, entrepreneurship professor at York University;
Maria, YEDI operations, speaking on resources available to fund your ideas and startup;
Nilay Goyal, LaunchYU manager, speaking on Innovation York’s role in entrepreneurship for York University students;
Maedeh Sedaghat, administrative coordinator at BEST;
a City of Vaughan business consultant; and
student entrepreneur Shah Suhail, co-president of EDA and founder of MasterMindMedia.

The networking session with our guest speakers and partners will commence after the speaking engagements.
Lunch will be provided after check-in. All are welcome to attend.
