Information Session: York-TD Community Engagement Catalyst Grants
Hosted by the York U-TD Community Engagement Centre, this webinar will share information about the 2022-23 Call for Proposals for this year’s Catalyst Grants. Catalyst Grants are intended to provide start-up funding for innovative partnerships between York University and the Black Creek community. Focusing on the theme of Sustainable Communities, grants are valued between $5000 to $10,000 per project, which can cover a broad range of ideas that respond to community need. Focusing on Sustainable Communities, we invite projects that creatively address sustainability in the Jane Finch community. This year, we are asking for proposals that have a focus on one or both of the following:
- Towards United Nation’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Projects that contribute towards the targets indicated in United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11: Making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
- Equitable approaches to sustainability: project contribute to increasing sustainability in way that is most meaningful to the Jane Finch community, taking a multi-disciplinary justice-focused lens.
