Inaugural Grand Community Iftar at Keele Campus

York University’s Student Life: The Centre for Student Community and Leadership Development (SCLD), in partnership with the Keele and Glendon Muslim Student Associations, will present an inaugural Grand Community Iftar on April 6, from 6 to 9 p.m., in the Second Student Center, Keele Campus.

All are welcome and invited, including folks from all faiths, to join and enjoy an array of guest speakers and performers for an evening of unity, solidarity and celebration of Islam. 

Guest speakers, du’a, breaking of the fast and Maghrib prayer will be observed and followed by a community dinner.

Tickets are required and can be purchased here. All students, staff and faculty are welcome to attend.  

Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated towards earthquake relief in Türkiye and Syria by way of Human Concern International.
