Immigrant families: a source of resilience?

Learn about immigrant families, their efforts to help each other settle and the
challenges of family dynamics. The webinar will focus on the factors that
promote the resilience of immigrant families, especially their economic
security. Speakers will make the case for expanded family reunification,
particularly for refugees who often suffer stress and anxiety about reuniting
family members.
Research by Professors Nancy Mandell, Jill Hanley, Nahid Sultana, Marshia
Akbar, Stéfanie Morris, Janice Phonepraseuth, and Jana Borras will be
reported.
This is the third webinar presenting recent research from the BMRC-IRMU
partnership.
