What’s virtual, fun, and fiendishly frightful all at the same time? Why, it’s York International’s Halloween Virtual Party, of course! Join the Global Peer Program and YorkU students on Friday October 30th from 12-1:30 PM EDT for a nearly 2-hour event that’s sure to put the oOOoOOOo back in your Zoom call.
Whether you’re a York student, alumni, or faculty member, there’s no reason to let your costume collect dust this year. We’ve got scary story-telling, escape room activities, costume showcase, and everything else you need to have a spook-tacular time this Halloween. Yup, this witch’s brew is just missing one thing… YOU!

Breakout Room Activities

Storytelling
Each participant is invited to introduce themselves through storytelling. In telling their stories each participant should mention name, Halloween costume/character, time, action, place, spooky encounter with another participant (who will start storytelling). No one shall call out the facilitator.

Escape the Room
In order to successfully complete the game, the group shall create a numerical code to be used at the end of the 5 challenges – if the code is wrong the group will be redirected to a void webpage. Participants need to have the Keele Campus map.

Costume Showcase
Fun guessing: Which movie character had the best costume idea? Choose among characters from Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Mean Girls, Brooklyn 99, and Stranger Things!
