Food & Mood

Did you know 90 per cent of serotonin (a.k.a. our happy hormone) receptors are in your gut?

In the relatively new field of nutritional psychiatry, research has shown that our gut health and the foods we eat not only impact our physical health, but also our mental health.

 Join the Health Education & Promotion team as we:

  • explore the gut-brain axis;
  • introduce the gut microbiome; and
  • provide simple strategies you can incorporate into your day-to-day life to support your gut health, in-turn supporting both your physical and mental well-being.
