Food & Mood

How does the food you consume affect your grades and your ability to handle life’s challenges and stressors?   This workshop aims to help educate students on the relationship to nutrition and food choices in how it impacts well-being and our ability to manage stress.

Did you know 90 per cent of serotonin (a.k.a. our happy hormone) receptors are in your gut? In the relatively new field of nutritional psychiatry our gut health and food choices can play a huge impact on positively or negatively affect our mood.

This practical workshop shares tips on mood boosting food and nutritional hacks with simple and practical recipes on a student budget.
