Finding Flowers “Winter Listening Session”

Join us in our “Winter Listening Session” happening on Thursday, Jan. 30, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the FES Faculty Lounge (HNES 201), Faculty of Environmental Studies, York University.
The event will be hosted by “Finding Flowers” with ENVS 4122 Art in Action course and will circle around listening to a wonderful audio piece by artists T’uy’t’tanat – Cease Wyss and Anne Riley: “Soundtrack for the Radical Love of Butterflies” (2018). This work spurs sounds, songs and conversations on what the artists call “Butterfly Medicine” and was originally released inside Mike MacDonald’s Butterfly Garden at the Walter Philips Gallery at the Banff Centre for the Arts.
Throughout the event we will share plant-based pollinated foods and native pollinator-seeds. Let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.
We hope to see you all there!
