Financial Health Check with York U Black Alumni Network
As part of Black History Month, the York University Black Alumni Network (YUBAN) invites members of the Black YU community to a discussion about finances with Reni Odetoyinbo (BBA ’19).
As part of the discussion, she will provide strategies, tools, and resources that can be used to build wealth and plan for the future. Reni is a Toronto-based content creator, marketing consultant, and finance enthusiast.
She will be joined by fellow YUBAN leaders, Randy Yeboah (BA ’10, MA ’12), Director of Business Continuity and Resilience with the TTC, Fikayo Aderoju (BA ’22), Founder and Executive Director of Project Impacting Lives, and Amuna Baraka-Clarke (MPPAL ’18), a Senior Human Resources Leader in Community Healthcare.
Topics will include:
• Are we being paid competitively?
• Are we building wealth with the money we are making?
• Are we preparing for our post-work lives?
Attendees will be able to ask questions during a Q&A session to follow.
