FES REDI Workshop – Unconcious Bias and Microagressions

The Faculty of Environmental Studies Equity Committee along with The Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion presents the FES REDI Workshop Series. In this session titled ‘Unconscious Bias and Microaggressions’ participants will:
• Strengthen understanding of how discrimination manifests as microaggressions and bias​
• Heighten awareness of the impacts of microaggressions and stereotypes​
• Increase mindfulness of our own thoughts and actions towards others​
• Obtain strategies to recognize and reduce impact of microaggressions on campus
Attend three workshops and receive a certificate from the Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion (REI) at York University.
