Expect More – An Autism Adventure – Talk by MPP Mike Lake

Calumet and Stong Colleges invite you to attend a talk by MPP Mike Lake entitled “Expect More – An Autism Adventure.”
In this passionate talk, Lake will share video clips from interviews and news stories centred around his son, Jaden, who has autism. His goal is to use Jaden’s personal story to change the way we think about the people around us -their abilities, their challenges and the unique contributions that they can make to the great benefit of all of us.
Lake has been actively involved in raising awareness of autism. In his 12 years as a member of Parliament, he has spoken to spouses of world leaders at the UN in New York City; travelled to London, Paris, Geneva and Washington to speak with fellow elected officials from across the political spectrum; and addressed global leaders at the WHO and in the international research community. Calumet and Stong Colleges are excited to have him come speak to our students.
Attend this unique talk, which will be followed by a Q-and-A.
