Educator Information Session: Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer – University of Montreal

IRIC, an ultra-modern research hub located in the heart of Université de Montréal, was created in 2003 to shed light on the mechanisms of cancer, discover new therapies and train the next generation of scientists. IRIC is home to 29 research units led by world-class principal investigators fully committed to cancer research and to training the next generation of research leaders. Students have access to many graduate programs and exciting research projects that can be grouped into 7 areas of research: Cell Signaling & Protein Dynamics / Cell Division & Migration / Immunology & Hematopoiesis / Genomics & Epigenetics / Chemical & Structural Biology / Targeted Therapies & Diagnostics / Computational Analysis & Modeling. IRIC students are also guaranteed to receive competitive financial support throughout the duration of their studies (MSc: $21,350/yr | PhD: $23,375/yr).
