DEADLINE: UPSA Peer Tutoring/Mentoring Application
The Undergraduate Psychology Student Association (UPSA) is recruiting Peer Tutors and Peet Mentors for the upcoming academic session, Fall/Winter 2020-2021!
Peer Tutor
UPSA offers free Peer Tutoring services in a range of historically challenging Psychology courses offered by the Faculty of Health. Student success and satisfaction are at the core of UPSA’s comprehensive services. Joining UPSA as a Peer Tutor will offer you the incredible opportunity of becoming more involved in the York community while connecting with your peers in an extraordinary way.
Eligible Peer Tutors must have aminimum cumulative GPA of B+and aminimum grade of Ain the courses they wish to tutor (Only some exceptions apply). If you are eager to make an impact at York University and you think Peer Tutoring is right for you, pleasethoroughly read throughtherecruitment packageand complete the application form(both documents can be found below). Applications are to be submitted by no later thanJune 19th at 11:59 pm. Select applicants will be contacted for an interview by June 21st and interviews will be held on June 27th and 28th.
Peer Mentor
UPSA offers free Peer Mentoring services through drop-in sessions and scheduled one-on-one appointments with Mentees. Student success and support in navigating undergraduate studies are the root of UPSA’s Peer Mentoring program. Joining UPSA as a Peer Mentor will offer you an introspective experience into student life at York, while allowing room for the development of leadership skills through meeting, helping and connecting with mentees.
Peer Mentor candidates must have achieved aminimumcumulative GPA of a B+(only some exceptions apply).
