Countdown to Congress Launch Event

Join us for a sneak peak of Congress 2023, including a preview of live musical and Indigenous dance performances to be featured in York’s Arts@Congress programming. We’ll also share details about opportunities for York students to get involved and offer a “taste of Congress” with some fun and light refreshments.

Congress 2023: ‘Reckonings & Re-imaginings’

York University is hosting the 2023 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences this year from May 27-June 2, in partnership with the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences. Congress is the largest academic gathering in Canada, and one of the largest in the world. This year’s theme ‘Reckonings and Re-imaginings‘ is a call to action to ignite positive change on the biggest social and environmental issues of our time.
