CIBC Breaking Barriers – Diversifying Capital Markets Summer 2025 (Diversity and Inclusion Event)

The Capital Markets Early Talent team at CIBC is hosting our Breaking Barriers: Diversifying Capital Markets Summer 2025 Campus Event, with the aim to increase applications to our summer programs from talent segments who are currently under-represented in Capital Markets. Priority will be made for students who self-identify as one or more under-represented communities, for example, people of colour, including members of the Black community, Indigenous peoples (i.e., First Nations, Inuit or Métis peoples), persons with disabilities, members of the LGBTQ+ community and women. This event will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 from 4:00PM – 5:30PM EST virtually via Microsoft Teams. This is an invite-only event and you will need to receive confirmation from the Capital Markets Early Talent team at CIBC to attend.
Are you currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and are interested in learning more about a career at CIBC Capital Markets? Are you interested in learning more about our inclusive culture here at the bank? This is your chance to connect with CIBC professionals across Global Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Global Markets during an virtual networking event to learn if it’s the right fit for you. We’ll share with you insider perspective on the Capital Markets business and how you can prepare for applications and interviews. You’ll hear from a panel of Analysts & Associates from Global Markets, Investment Banking and Corporate Banking as they share key information on their career journeys and what student opportunities look like at CIBC.
If you are selected to attend this event, you will receive an invitation to the email address you provide to us along with additional information about the event. Please note that space is limited and selection is first come first served.

You are enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a graduation date no sooner than April 2026 and are looking for a Summer 2025 internship
This event will be hosted virtually via Microsoft Teams. If you are selected to attend, you will receive an email with the Microsoft Teams link.
