Celebrate While We Educate February 6^th – 28^th 2023

A collaborative event series hosted by York Universities Black Student Associations with support from the Centre of Student Community and Leadership Development.

Our goal is to educate the rest of the York Community on the rich culture found within the different branches of the black community while addressing stereotypes and misconceptions. Whilst members of the black community share similar struggles and even cultural similarities, it is important to highlight the cultural differences and backgrounds that exists within the community.
