Careers Matter Alumni-Student Connection

Students will meet Alumni, Fellows, Professors and Graduate Students, and connect with them about their career paths and vocations.
Students can ask Alumni, Fellows, Professors and Graduate Students questions about:
-paths to success
-personal challenges
-nature of their careers
-shadowing/volunteering opportunities
-mentoring opportunities
-apprenticeship/internship opportunities
-tips for success
A variety of occupations and careers will be represented at the event. They include some (not all) of the following:
Teaching/Education, Academia/Research, Registered Kinesiologist, Clinical Psychologist, Insurance, Rehabilitation Specialist, Dentistry Student, Urban Planning, Government, Publishing, Marketing, Health Regulation, Nursing, Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, Sales, Risk, Quality and Process Improvement (Healthcare), Occupational Therapist, Physician Assistant, Proposal Writer (Technology), HR/Recruiting, Writer, Arts Consultant, Events Coordinator, Law Student, Communications, Clinical Social Work, Physician, Speech Pathology, Corrections, and Physiotherapist.
