The second webinar in a series titled ‘Doing Chinese History (In a New Era)’ will be focused on ” Careers Beyond the Academy for Historians of China” and will take place on Wednesday, 29 July at 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm PT.

Ho (Yale University) present this series of three online webinars for graduate students in Chinese history and Chinese studies, broadly defined. We and other colleagues recognize that current students are facing unprecedented challenges in conductingresearch and pursuing their professional development. We realize that this pilot series will not address all issues, but hope that it will create a platform of community and support, with the potential for continuation in the future.
Doing Chinese History (In a New Era) webinars will be conducted via Zoom, and participants will be
required to register in advance via Yale’s Council on East Asian Studies.
