Cannabis: Misconceptions & Safer Practices

Using cannabis (weed, pot) is a personal choice, but it can have short- and long-term effects on your health.   

We review types of cannabis forms (edibles, inhalants , topicals), provide guidance on understanding dosage size, packaging labels interaction with other substances, and discuss common myths about cannabis.   

We also look at safety considerations and provide harm-reduction guidelines to lower health associated health risks and dependency and interaction with other substance use (e.g. alcohol).    

Please note the purpose of this workshop is for general education only. We do not condone or promote any particular lifestyle choice. Please consult a healthcare professional for guidance and support.
