Do you love capturing nature? Help us take a snapshot of York’s biodiversity! For Campus Sustainability Month, join our BioBlitz event by using the iNaturalist app to catalog and geotag plants, animals and insects across our beautiful campus. Whether you’re exploring a heritage woodlot, the arboretum or one of our scenic ravines, every observation counts on either the Keele or Glendon Campus! 🍃
💡 How to Participate:
1️⃣ Download the iNaturalist app.
2️⃣ Create an account.
3️⃣ Search “York University BioBlitz” under the Projects tab and join.

🔹 Oct. 10, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Walk with Prof. Gordon Fitch at Arboretum Lane; meet behind the Bergeron Building.
🔹 Oct. 22, 9:30 to 11 a.m.: Walk with Prof. Alex Mills at Arboretum Lane; meet behind the Bergeron Building.
🔹 Oct. 23, 2 to 3:30 p.m.: Walk with Professor Laura McKinnon; at the Glendon Manor entrance (Glendon College).
🔹 Oct. 24, 1 to 2 p.m.: Walk with Valerio Larivera; meet at York Boulevard and Keele Street, by the York sign at the main entrance of the University.
