are’. Storytelling is the most ancient education practice; it is a practice that each and every single person is entitled to. In many most African, Indigenous and collectivist communities the Power of stories play a significant role in one’s identity. This talk will explore the African-Centred principle of Collective Work and Responsibility while using storytelling as a medium of expression. It will further explore the stigmatization of people from low-income communities and showcase a new narrative lead by sisters from the ‘HOOD’.
