Black Grad Celebration hosted by York’s Black Alumni Network

We are thrilled to invite you to York’s Black Grad Celebration. The York University Black Alumni Network (YUBAN) warmly welcome Black-identifying York U alumni to join the celebration.

Location: Schulich Executive Learning Centre, York University, Schulich School of Business, 4700 Keele St, North York, ON M3J 1P3

You and one guest are invited to attend an evening of celebration, along with faculty, staff, classmates, alumni, friends, family, and allies. Dress to impress and enjoy food, music, photo ops and heartfelt words from favorite members of the community like Professor Andrea Davis, Coordinator Black Canadian Studies Certificate, and Fikayo Aderoju (BA, ’22), Chair of YUBAN.

As we celebrate Black graduates, YUBAN also acknowledges that there is much more work to be done to counter anti-Black racism and to achieve much deserved equity. This event is being held in partnership with the Division of Advancement, Division of Students, Division of Equity, People, and Culture and the Centre for Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion.
