The Master’s in Environmental Studies Planning program draws from EUC’s interdisciplinary grounding to educate planners who understand the relational nature of environmental, socio-spatial, cultural, economic, legal and political forces that define planning problems and processes and shape the differentiated impacts of planning outcomes for diverse population segments. Through our accredited planning curriculum—which builds on required courses, self-directed plan of study and research, and experiential education—students gain advanced knowledge and professional skills to engage reflexively with questions of social and environmental justice in relation to urban and regional development.
