Anita McBride Mentorship Event – Call for MES Alumni Mentors

Attention master of environmental studies (MES) alumni!

The Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change (EUC) invites you to participate at our upcoming Anita McBride Mentoring Workshop on Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Anita McBride Mentoring Workshop is an annual event for MES students and alumni, consisting of a panel presentation and speed networking sessions. We invite alumni from various sectors and fields of work to participate as mentors during the second half of the event. Connect with first-year MES students about how to navigate their time in the program, how to identify the career pathways that exist post-graduation, as well as share tips on navigating the current labour market.

Join us in supporting MES students as they navigate their academic and professional journeys. RSVP via this form by Oct. 1 to indicate your interest in joining us a mentor.

We look forward to your participation in this rewarding opportunity to contribute to the success of our MES community.

For more information, contact Joanne Huy, alumni engagement officer, at johuy@yorku.ca.

McBride is the former director of the FES Office of Student & Academic Services. She began working at the Faculty in 1972 and retired in 1999.
